Prepping for CHA 2017

It's almost here everyone.  I can't believe I'm even saying this but I'm going to be at CHA this year in Phoenix, Arizona. This picture was taken on Summit Mountain.  I think that was the name.  I was too scared to go up any further so this is where we stopped and took a pic and started our driving back down.  Yes, I'm the friend that hates heights.

If you are unfamiliar with CHA it is the Craft and Hobby Association. This is where you join thousands of creative industry professionals for the ultimate creative industries event. CHA is the heart of creativity and Creativation is the place to learn, connect and discover. Learn what’s new, what’s trending, connect with new buyers, suppliers, designers, makers, bloggers, media and entrepreneurs from around the world and discover new products, inspiration, ideas and innovations.  I know a mouth full right?( I took this info directly from the webiste ;-) )  But to me, this is going to be a dream come true.

I've been in Arizona since last Thursday and within a day I got a sinus infection.  Not how I planned on spending the beginning of my trip here.  My daughter and bestie and I were suppose to be shopping and hanging out but nope Mom and daughter had to get sick.  However this gave me the opportunity to line up my schedule with people I want to make sure I meet and companies I definitely want to introduce myself to.  Oh, yeah I got a tattoo.  Yup, before you ask the question, it hurt like hell!  And the reason I got it, I lost a bet to my daughter.  She also has a feather so I got one as well.  It's already healing and I have NO regrets.  The things I do for my kids. Okay back to CHA news.

If you have been a follower of my blog, Youtube channel and Periscope than you know I just LOVE sharing great products with all of you.  So having this chance to see the products up close and personal before they hit the market is huge for me.  But most importantly is meeting the people behind the companies, blogs, Periscopes and Youtube channels I admire so much.  I'll be able to finally squeeze on them and sprinkle them with some JOY!

I will be doing LIVE Periscope and Facebook broadcast starting FRIDAY so stay turned.  You can find me HERE on Periscope and HERE on Facebook.  Let's get ready for some fun, excitement and money dropping because this my friends is going to be mindblowing.

Rainbow Roses TUTORIAL

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday.  Thought I would start the week off with a tutorial.  This is the first one for 2017.  Yikes I don't know where the first two weeks of January have gone. I'm using the newly released Roses In Bloom stamp set from FBStamps.

Making custom tags is a quick and easy why to showcase a gorgeous image without having to commit to coloring an entire design.  In this case foiling an entire design.  Here's the tutorial on how this tag came together.  You can also watch it over at YouTube as well.

What are your go to tag creations? Comment below and let's inspire each other.  Have a great day everyone.

FBStamps Fairy Wishes

Hey peeps.  Happy Monday.  I'm back today sharing my card using the Fairy Wishes stamp set from Fbstamps.  You can pick this stamp set up in a  fabulous bundle pack today.  If you want to see how this card came together, check out my periscope from last night.

For the little package my rabbit is carrying on his back I used the Celebrate stamp set.  I stamped the smaller present and ran it through my printer at 50% reduction to get a smaller present.  The entire card was colored with Prisma Soft Core color pencils. My mushroom also has some white dots drawn on with a white gel pen and some brown specks made with a Sharpie.  I paired the rest of the card with pretty polka dot paper from MFT and some bakers twine.  Here's a close up of awesome images in the stamp set.

So tell me what coloring projects are you working on this week.  Are you using color pencils, makers, gelatos?  Leave a comment below.  Let's see what's inspiring all of us this week.

Hugs,

Sending Love And Winner Announcement

Hey peeps. Thanks everyone who joined in on the Seasons Giving blog hop.  I really appreciate all the new followers and the lovely comments each of you have left. I had a chance to hop around as well and man there are some amazing bloggers.  Some I are new to following too.  I love finding new blogs to follow.

Now onto my card.  Can you believe this is my first card of 2017.  I was such in the holiday mode that I just couldn't get back into the craft room.  I shared the coloring technique yesterday on Periscope.  You can check it out HERE.  Not a member of Periscope?  No worries boo, it's free to sign up and I'm on there weekly with crafting inspiration and a load of laughter.

The stamp used for this card is from Stampin Up.  It's a clearance stamp so I'm not sure it's going to be around much longer.  I colored it using some Chameleon markers. Of course I needed some shimmer so I used Spectrum Noir Shimmer pens. To finish the card I used a heart embossing folder and some pretty washi tape.

Do something look familiar to some of you in the photo?  Yes, Sprinkles has made his debut for the first time for 2017.  For those who are like what or who is Sprinkles, Sprinkles is my happiness unicorn that my sweet friend Brianna made for me.

As you can see Sprinkles is a glitter eating unicorn.  LOL This little fella will be showing up in photos throughout the year.  I can't thank Brianna enough for sending him my way.  Having crafty friends is truly the best.  Share some kindness in 2017 peeps.  It not only makes you feel good but you never know how good it makes the the person receiving it feel.

Oh and the winners of the Seasons Givings blog hop are:

Prize #1 Ericka Strange

Prize #2 Lainey Devita

Have a great day everyone.
